[Exhibition] 2025 TNUA NMA Excellence Award—MUSHBOOM! game over

In 2025, the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA) returns to the Center for Art and Technology for its second residency, presenting an exhibition titled “MUSHBOOM! game over.” The project aims to break through conventional frameworks of exhibition formats and spatial boundaries. Centered around the main concept of arcade machine, the exhibition shows the rebellious spirit and creative energy of New Media Art students, and aims to challenge the spatial constraints of a non-traditional venue. It seeks to redefine modes of viewing and participation, transforming the CAT into a space for critical thinking — a platform where creators and audiences can engage in collective brainstorming and actively explore new possibilities for the future of exhibitions.
