“Multiverse and Sustainability of Art – International Forum on Science, Technology and Art Database” will be held on November 11, 2023 in the lecture hall on the 1st floor of Center for Art and Technology.It is co-sponsored by the Taiwan Society of Science and Technology and the Center.
The forum invited Professor Oliver Grau, an expert in German art history and media theory, and Mito Hatanaka, chief curator of ICC (NTT InterCommunication Center), to discuss the various forms of technological art in the 21st century and today’s How to collect and preserve art data, and what kind of art form media art is.
In addition, domestic experts and scholars are also invited, such as Professor Qiu Zhi-yong, Director of the Institute of Science and Technology and Art and Vice Dean of the School of Art, National Tsinghua University, Huang Wen-hao, Chairman of the Digital Art Foundation, Shude University of Science and Technology’s E-Sports and Computer Entertainment Science Assistant Professor Li Yin-zhang gave a special lecture.
At the end of the forum, some speakers were invited to participate in a comprehensive discussion with Director Chen Kueiyi of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
