While distance between various regions in the world is getting closer, borders between regions are blurred due to frequent interactions. The idea of national culture no longer serves as the rule for differentiating regional diversities. Different cultures intermingled and could not be controlled or understand accurately while in the process of shaping a “global culture”. However, contemporary art could provide us such imagination. As art activities are getting more and more appealing to global public, art without borders has reflect the artistic diversity within trans-culture integration. This lecture will explore the importance and influences of artists toward their respective artistic context, media and form, under the current cultural discourse.
